I have a similar 190D 2.0L. It returns 8 miles/L (36MpG) in London. If possible go for the 2.5L. My car came with FSH and the mileage was 64k. Now its 74k and I havent hoad to do anything major other than the ball joints. Exhaust is not great . There was a serious leak but i managed to do a DIY fix with a couple of jubilee clips and a can of baked beans. It has lasted almost a year. You can also run these diesels on waste oil without any major modifications |

cheers fellas turns out it is the same one you spotted on ebay - I was sent a link to their site by a mate and hadn't spotted the ebay listing "before" - any way has saved me a wasted journey. |
