Guys I need some help.

I want to remove my old diff and I am stuck at the front mount bolt.
Is there a way/tool that can hold the lock nut on top?
I tried both my socket sets and ratchet but not possible to get the socket seated on the nut as I have limited access

Or should I drop the subframe?

Advise please........

I seem to remember reading something about shaving about 15mm off the front of a socket to allow better access but i'm struggling to find it at the moment..?? I'll keep looking .!!

I forgot to reply earlier but I managed it.

I used the bit that comes with the long extention bar of my socket set (black arrow pointing it), a multispline 15mm socket and a short, big size allen key through the hole in order to lock against the frame. The allen key or any piece of steel rod has to be thick enough to cope with 45Nm of torque. it may just be needed to hold the socket down with minor pressure untill it locks agains the frame (Be very carefull though to avoid trapping your fingers)
