Reet guys, just like say hello, and give a quick intro. ;)

Soooooo......Me. The names Matt, and I live in Chorley, Lancashire.

Why am I here.

Well, it all starts with a J-Tin I purchased about 2 years ago.

In December 08, I purchased m'self a Mitsubishi Delica, after a few (a lot) of teething problems, and a few (Muchos!) quid my loverly robust Jap beast was running like the suburban, terrain attacking, family n' load lugging rascal it was designed to be. However, Fook me! was it expensive to run. :o

I did some research. Turns out (once the notorious fuel pump seal issue was resolved (700 quid :'( )) this shogun/pajero based unit would run on pretty much owt you wanted to chuck in it...........hmmmm. It was at this point I was introduced to the world dino safe fuel.

What this **insert swear word here** will run off chip fat!!! :D

I located my local bio dealer, and since then i've been happily running my 2.8 turbo, 2.5T, 20mpg hunk of jap steel.......for half the price it should be costing me. That 40mpg to me!! :D

This brings me to my girlfriends, horrible, nasty, cheap, shitty V reg rover 216. Now I like odd motors, hence the J-tin.......wtf are we doing running PETROL! rover.

I have a good bio contact, i trust the fuel, its A LOT cheaper then derv = my missus needs a new car......that i love to.

Requirements

Runs Bio, Well built (safe for my kids), A bit different, Good looking.

Any Ideas?......

Let me help you out, i need (and will get) a Merc in my life.

Now as you can probably tell, i LOVE my o'l bus..........but at the moment, I got my mind on a Merc! (and a Merc on my mind)

Anyhoo, ta for reading this (actually pretty long intro), ive checked a couple of 190d's, I have some question's, and would love to hear your responses. It looks like its highly likely a 190 will be coming my way, so i'm hoping to become a bit of a regular on the forum........I warn you now though, its likely i'll ask more questions then I answer.

Matt ;)

Welcome to the forum, we have several wvo (and svo) users around these parts, happy to help with whatever you need.

The 190d's are very solid and resilient, very well suited to veg.
