Hi all, ive just brought my 1st 190! I lived in Germany for 5 years so had a soft spot for them for a while now.Ive only had it 5 days and love it already Its a white 1.8 sportline 1993. I got the 1.8 to save on fuel, plus ive not seen many 1.8sportlines for sale all 2.0+ I think im gonna buy another one this year but a 2.6 so ive got best of both worlds. my uncle came across this 190 and the owner had sadly died 2 years ago,and has been stood over a year. so my uncle who ownes a garage put a new battery, service, bushes and an exhaust on her, a full valet and shes like new! |

Ooo! Another sportline, cracking stuff! My first sportline was a 1.8, they are quite rare. Hope you enjoy 190 ownership, and the site. Lets see some pics of the car in the show off your 190 section! |

Hi everyone, another New recruit in the world of 190s, my first encounter with a 190 was when i was 10 my fathers Phd tutor got me a miniature MB190 red in colour, 22 years later while chatting to a friend (a classic lover) i realised that my love for 190 has never left me, it was hibernating! while i was searching for a 190 i realised i couldn't afford commuting on a petrol nor the price of a 2.5 16s, so i started to look for a 2.5D most of which have high mileage and poor condition if you can get one. however i got quite lucky, so i ended up buying a 2.5D with 100K ok condition from scotland and a 190E 2L with 142K in V.good condition from a MB independent dealer i am in the process of giving them a major service including discs etc, but struggling to find the genuine workshop manual ![]() i will post some pics soon BTW: wonderful forum, wonderful people, glad to be part of it. |
