Home already, and I've got a few pics for you.
Nice turnout early doors, good selection of cars. Car park rammed though, not really able to do a line-up.
Maybe some folk will manage it later.
Good to see the usual crowd, and meet some members for the first time too :)

Inside MB World there were some cool things on display. Will put up more pics tomorrow but for me here's the star of the show;

Nice to see everyone, both familiar and new people B)

Weather wasn't too bad considering, we missed most of the morning showers.

A little busier than usual for a Sunday there, partly due to a 'Comic Relief' charity car wash. It was quite astonishing to see a £160-170K SLS AMG Gullwing being washed by a team of eager youths using gritty sponges and a fire hose later on! :help:

I didn't really take any pics, got one of the 'mini group' after the earlier cars had gone. From right to left - My 2.5-16, Jeremy's 190E-3.6, Pirate's Pink/Purple 190E and Pari's 2.6.

I think some of the others have a few more piccies. Was quite a lot of interesting stuff inside, both modern and classic restored/concours cars.

Was quite amused by Jeremy's idea of balancing a coin on the engine, although it's resting somewhat near the emblem it is at quite an angle. It is a really smooth running and powerful valver engine though! B) :D

Cheers guys and look forward to meeting up again sometime now the weathers getting better :)

Know and remember them well, had quite a few, years back.

RR Classics and SD1 Vitesse Twin Plenum (very rare cars ;) )

Never tried balancing a coin on any car to be honest.

Smoothest idling engine I can recall was a Lexus V8, unbelievably smooth and silent!

Still, for a 2.5-16 I think that my current one is pretty good, certainly the smoothest 16v I have owned or driven.

Longest build time in history?
well its now not far after 6:45

Audi packed up a mile and half from Brooklands on the way home at 1. Watched England win the rugby (only the second half) after being recovered back to a garage in Kingston, got a little bit drunk with an awesome couple I met watching the rugby, just got a train from Kingston to Waterloo.

Gotta pick up the car tomorrow (crankshaft sensor had it) and come up with a reasonable excuse as to why I am a little late for sunday lunch to which we're having five people over.

Its not that bad, we were going to be eating late anyway!

That'll teach me to bring an Audi to Mercedes hallowed ground!

Nice to see some new faces and catch up with some old, next time I'm hitching a lift or taking the train!

Good to catch up with those people that turned out today. Sorry I couldn't stay longer but weekends are always really busy. All the 190's were looking very clean this time, much to the annoyance of the charity car washers !! See you again soon.
