as the title, when i put the refurbed hubs onto the new wishbones there is obviously that slot that needs filling where the baljoint bolt goes what can i use?

I did mine the other day I got a pressurised tin of sealant from the motor factors ![]() About £10 but its really handy. |

Neil, the split joint which faces inboard on the swivel hub. The pinch bolt passes through the hub and engages into a notch on the balljoint pin. If open the slot allows debris and corrosion to form making the bolt difficult to remove at a later date. Filling the groove with sealant prevents this occuring. |

![]() where the top of the balljoint goes, you then tighten the nut/bolt, and aply the sealent so no water gets in ruining the balljoint |
