I cant be sure but I wouldnt have thought so, the w124 is a fair bit wider than the 201.

Hi all, I am new to the forum, I live in South Africa in the Cape close to the beach in a town called Strand. A week ago I purchased a 190E-2.3-8V Sportline 1993 model, the condition is very good but a few Items need to be looked at. Firstly my very noisy diff I narrowed it down to the two sideshaft bearings, removed diff to find the ratio on the casing on the rear side says 3.23:1 and according to my Electronic manual and my vin number I should have a 3.46:1 ratio, so the oil seals and bearings I purchased from the agents with my vin number are incorrect, they are too big. Being Easter weekend I am doomed to fix the car but maybe someone can tell me which other Benz diff will fit without having to replace the half shafts, will only replace the 4 bolt back plate, mine has the ABS and a RPM sensor on the diff > :help:
