need new fuel lines for my 1991 1800, anyone any ideas where to get them??cheers ted

I had trouble with this when i had to do mine. Tried the dealers and they didnt have any in stock, and said they will not be doing them any more. Also got them to check if they could get any sent over from germany and they only had the return line. will most probably have to do what i did and get hold of some 8mm copper pipe and make them up yourself.

Solder an olive onto the end of a copper pipe, that'll sort it for now.

had a quote from the local merc dealer today, £39 odd for each pipe..so not too bad, apparently can get them from milton keynes..ted

Dont know what they were talking about when i was after them then! Think you will still have to shape them though so will have to get a pipe bender if you dont have one already, can be got from ebay for a few quid.

I used a £9 pipe bender from ebay on some copper/nickel pipe and its easy. You really cant go wrong.
The cheap ebay flare tools are a different matter, I would say spend a few quid more and get a decent one.
