Yes that's right James.

Had a good time last night, was good to meet you all, and some lovely cars on show... And a rusty red 2.6! lmao

After a 'spirited' drive out in Chris' 16V, I can now understand what all the fuss is about valvers. Awesome car!

Great photos by Macca, I've got a few of my own that I'll probably put up tonight, though they're very similar. Here's to the next meet.

3 manual gearboxes ! Who'd have put money on that ?

Great to meet you all. Some tech advice I admit went over my head, but there is time.

Fantastic pics Macca !!

Chris, thanks for the spin in your car. You have seriously given me much food for thought. Bloody hell I want one !!

Let's hope we can get the numbers up on the next meet. Maybe combine with another Yorkshire area ? Maybe.

Happy motoring .

Dan

A very enjoyable first meet, good to meet everyone! :)

I did let the side down a bit though, as I was the only that hadn't been washing and polishing the car before the meet. I believe Dans' first comment was 'Have you been rallying?...'

Hopefully we'll have a few more for the next meet?

B)

lol i do believe it was his first comment lol

it was a good start and now we just need to build on it, we will have to arrange another one. what would everyone say to every 2 months due to the distance we all travel and the cost of the petrol these days. also the main question is are we all happy with the venue used

Weather forecast is pretty good. Reasonably warm and no rain (allegedly).

Still planning to be there on Sunday. This looks promising for a spot of lunch and a pint........
