You know the compressor, condenser, evaporator, hoses, AND any other devices which control the gas flow.

1989/90 2.6 FI gas pre-sportline with factory A/C.

This is going to be like any other repair on a 22 yr old car; I'm going to have to take it apart, inspect every piece, restore it like new, because everything is 22 yrs old!

Here's the trick question for the day...

Is there a fanbelt for the 2.6 that does NOT route around the AC pulley?
This would alloy me to drive my car, while I search AC parts and overhaul the ac system on my bench.
If so what is the part number?

Err yes. A belt for non AC cars would suit your needs perfectly.

Good luck with this, looks a right pain much like a heater matrix job!

I'm sure a 2.6 fan without A/C should do the trick... I don't however have a part number for you, sorry.
