how to locate and fit a new lambda; need to sort out my over fueling issue

Hey please help! I'm 100% certain my lambda's gone pete tong. I'm gonna fit a new one, I don't know where it is or how its done! Can some nice dude plz educate me!! Many many thanks!

Under the drivers seat area and the electrical socket is under or just in front of the drivers seat carpet.

Once again a big thank you! Have you done this before, I just don't want to balls it up! I take it the lambda unscrews out with the wires leading into some sort of conectors!

Hey thanks guys! Problem sorted. New plugs (old ones were bad) bottle of wynn's and a clean up of the lambda connectors and a massive improvement! I will chuck a new lambda on tho. Big thanks

sorry to hijack the thread here a bit but does anyone know if the lambda sensor isnt connected properly, would this stop the engine from starting?

no shouldn't have that effect at all, engine should start and run without it,
Assuming you using some version of the Jetronic the system will even have detected that the sensor is broken and will be giving a fault code reading,
the problem is most likely something more basic (spark plugs, loose connection etc.)

Apart from that if the Lamda Sensor is faulty/broken/not opperating the engine will go into 'Emergency Mode'

which you won't neccesarily notice untill you come to fill up at the pumps and you will have a heavy consumption.
