Ok so the time has come to get the exhaust done on my 2.3-16 and i am in a dilema over what to get. My options are: 1- Single pipe system 2-Twin pipe system 3-Twin pipe system with X sextion to increase back pressure Anyone know which system would perform the best ? Other mods to the car include EFI conversion, 2.5 cams and hyabusa throttle bodies. Any input appreciated. Thanks |

Anyone have any input? Think I will go for option 3 if not as iirc that is the same setup as the evo2 and I would expect my power output to be similar. |

On my 3.0 I have a twin pipe system with a single centre section![]() Its all a bit subjective but it feels like it breathes nice and easily, its got a really nice sound. Very quiet when I am not pushing it, but big and boomy when I am. The single section is what makes it boomy. Replace that with double and it would be louder, but more of an exhaust/raspy loudness, less boomy. If I am unfortunate enough to be cruising at exactly the wrong revs my entire car booms, for me its around 3k. |

I got it done at a local place in bushey, they offered as an informal forum discount. There is a post on it somewhere with a vid(including sound),I will see if I can find it. Its manifold back, so includes the downpipes, the plan is to get the manifold done at some point too. |
