hi guys as some of you may already know I'm a mercedes fan and have always been one especially w201's, I've also been a bmw fan as some of you may recall my bmw e30 m3 cab that i use to own a while back (which i gave to my brother that sold it for peanuts!! "wallbang" ). I've currently got a few 190e's now that I'm working on personally but those will be a surprise when they are finished in due course hopefully, this project is a joint venture with a friend of mine, just something to do on the side on weekends or when when bored, the car came with a 323i engine that was knackered, we've managed to find a 325i motor sport m20 engine from the later e30 mtec sport, and swapped it along with all the wiring and management system. we patched up all the rust holes (welded) on the floor and around the sills, and started getting the panels straight and stripped the whole car, eventually after a few weeks "lol" long i know... we managed to get the whole car in primer and almost finished blocking it down ready for paint, of course when its painted ill be hiring out a booth local to me at one of my friends garage...

hope this isn't an inconvenience sharing a non mercedes w201 on this forum, and since its the only forum I'm currently part of thought ill do a little post on it and see what you guys think of it...

rear quarter bear metalled and panels beaten, lightly fillered and primed

masked up ready for final primer

hope you guys like what I've done so far, as the project goes along and eventually gets finished ill keep you guys posted

Keep up the good work. Here's a 325i I owned for about five years in the late '80s. Apologies for the body kit - blame the first owner - I was the second. Not the best quality photo - this was taken using an an old fashioned film camera, then the print was photographed with my digital camera and uploaded. How technology has changed!

Never used a Deltalyo before (DeVilbiss and Sata being my weapons of choice) but looks like it has laid down a good finish though :)
