Been putting this off for a while but its got to be done Plan is to warm it up nicely and douse with WD40... anything else I can do to free them up? Edited by horatio, Sat May 19, 2012 3:25 pm.

Did mine on my 190D for the first time last year. They weren't tight and gave me no problems (which was nice). Access is the only issue - you'll need a range of extension bars to get at them. They can all be reached on a 4-cyl motor - just take your time and work out how to get at them. I recall the only dismantling I did was a link rod to the injector pump. If you've got one that won't budge, personally, I'd change the rest and live with it. A 4-cyl will start on 3 good plugs. Better that than shearing the top off one. Good luck |
