hi all is it a hard job to change the fan belt on my 190 diesel as it is screeming like a pig lol looked in the manual and it looks quite hard thanks George

George I did this job a few months ago - wasn't too difficult once you get stuck in i DID need the right combination of socket, extension, and long breaker bar to undo the main bolt that secures the tensioner Other than that, no big problem Oh, and wear gloves - the old belt, and the pulleys, will be covers in old belt dust ! Hi George, As Howard says, its not difficult really if you put your mind to it. If you havent got any gloves, you can get away with lightly rinsing your hands under the cold tap afterwards
