It was time to replace the exhaust, not so much that it was done, but I thought it was near time that I retuned the front pipe to Cosmo 2.5-16 who loaned it to me a few years ago now. The reason for that is well documented somewhere in the archives of mercedes190.co.uk. The front pipe is not a cheap part, nor for that matter is the middle section, or the bolts, nuts, bracket, rubbers etc. Interestingly, the middle box was still the one that was fitted when it left Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen way back in 1992.
