aliceandpatrickhouston@hotmail.com Hi, As we own a W201 1989 2ltr KE Jetronic auto, and are having the usual idle nightmare, would it be of any benefit to go to a diagnostic centre knowing this model has limited electronics and mechanical injection system. I expect no one will have the 9 pin harness required. In other words am I destined for the Merc dealer. fastfree .

Steer clear of the main dealer, they won't have a clue about KE-Jet. Find a Bosch service centre who will have the correct knowledge.
