Hi,

Bought a 190E 2L manual as my new daily last night, so thought i'd introduce myself have a few questions to ask aswell.

Overall its very clean with no rust and generally a very straight chassis. The blue fabric seats and door cards have been binned for cream leather(although the drivers seat base is sagging :'(, it also has an Apex lowering kit, which has provided a nice drop.

One of my favourite bits

It drives okay but a few things need some attention;
-The front speakers are blown
-The clutch pedal is very high(not the biting point but the pedal itself) of which means my leg hits the gigantic steering wheel when pulling away
-The throttle has alot of play at the top, and seems very ''stiff'' or should i say resistant. A lube of components may solve that
-The drivers seat is sagging on the base which means i'm sat at an angle which makes driving a little awkward.

Fortunately i know my way round a tool box so hope fully all of these will be easily remedied.

However can the clutch pedal height be adjusted, a quick scan through google and a look in the haynes manual, didn't mention anything, so am i right in assuming it cannot be adjusted?

Enjoy,

Lee

Hello and welcome Lee, first thing, the seat you will need to move to the correct position. Pull the 'D' handle on the right hand side of the seat base, pull it up and while sitting in the seat push it back until the top of your legs are not touching the bottom of the wheel. Now pull the handle at the left front of the seat and move it forward to the correct distance for your leg length.

The 'offset' pedals my be an issue for you!

Speakers are on top off the dash, easy to access and if you look up in the search function there are plenty of suggestions on upgrades.

I have already adjusted the seat appropriately, its as low as it can go currently.

A smaller steering wheel maybe the way to go but i have heard that they can obstruct dials when too small and the amount of turns lock to lock is increased.

However i do have the perfect wheel for it in my civic currently...

Yes the smaller wheel will obstruct the dials especially the fuel gauge but it's a price worth paying IMHO. The Momo would look good! :)

Hello and welcome.

You have a pre facelift interior fitted. How was the rear seat bench fitted? The front mountings will have been modified to make it fit. Also, the mountings for the seat belts are different and don't match up with the slots in the seat base. How was that sorted?

Not a clue with regards to the rear bench.

If i remember i'll have a poke around this weekend, as modding anything to do with seat belts doesn't put me at ease. Albeit i rarely have passengers in the rear.

Wth regards to the rear bench, it's doesn't fit overly well. Getting it on the mounts isn't easy and pulling the seatbelts through is damn near impossible.

Don't think I'll be having rear passengers for a while. -_-

Ah brilliant cheers for that mate. Will bare it in mind.

I'm yet to know the differences between pre and post face lift will have to do some searching.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. Did a few bits this weekend seems to be running well. Just waiting for a boss to turn up to for my momo.
