Hi All new to the forum and looking to buy a 190 Diesel, don't want someone else s problem so looking for a lowish mileage good bodywork car Red would be the preferred colour but any considered. Ideally 2.5 Auto must be v good all round condition.

I have been looking on all the usual sites Ebay, Gumtree and Autotrader but most are about 400 miles from where I am and don't
want a long journey to see a Scrapper!

If anyone on here can vouch for a car I would feel a bit safer in knowing that they are enthusiasts of the Mercedes 190's

Any help appreciated

(I already posted this under alternative fuel a few days ago)

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your search

I wouldn't get too hung up on trying to find a low mileage 190d if I were you. A higher mileage car that has been regularly serviced will offer a lot better value than a high priced low miler, that is only ever going to be devalued by regular use. Personally, I think getting a car with as little rust as possible is more important than the miles.

Hi Spencer thanks for the reply, I agree about looking for a sound bodywork car rather than low mileage
I was just really saying if I had the choice that would be my preference colour, Mileage, Auto.MBSH, etc. but at the end of the day as long as I can get a decent all rounder then that would do.

Thanks
Again

Mike.
