Buying my First 190e

Hi Guys

Buying my first 190E :evo2: tomorrow, dependant of wife. Is a C Reg, white, with body kit and tan leather interior seats, done 144000 miles

Any advice???? feckknows

Wonder if owner on here?? Buying it from Paignton ^o)

My Dad use to have one when I was younge, wonder if that one is still around, the reg was J849LUV, white also but a 190D

I would be checking all the usual places for rust, check out shrekkys thread on rust spot repairs, his car is a c reg...seen it myself today...what an eye opener.

Can't seem to find it, Its not in the DVLA database and a car I know was scrapped 5 years ago still remains on there, so its not been around in England for longer than that on that reg number.
Might have gone to the big scrap yard in the sky :crying:

Or possibly it was exported or is living under a private plate, We can always hope :)

J849LVU dad's plate may have been. ^o)

Saw it today, I was really deflated, :X major rust all wings, rear windscreen, hole into boot, wet under carpet drivers, ductape used in the enginebay to seal pipes.

Really thought, maybe parts car, was nice bodykit, alloys interior??? Maybe £250-300 parts, did have MOT though, so could have driven it back??? :driver:

Walk away from this sort of car, there are plenty of good ones still out there just keep looking.

That's so sad to hear cliff, I'm sure the right one will turn up for you...just a matter of looking everywhere,the good thing is you checked the car over in all the right places...took a year to find mine!!!!

tan leather is pretty rare ... and if it had nice alloys (not a body kit man myself) then looks/sounds a decent parts car
