Thanks. I live over in Norway so is a Norwegian car but.... it states in the papers it was imported from Germany in 88' :-) but i have a LOT of work to do, lots of welding, whole paint job, carpets the lot... i got it cheap but i've always dreamed of owning one since i first seen one, i was about 9 so a while ago :-) i think it'll be an interesting jouney. Gonna start in about 2 weeks so im thinking of documenting it and opening a photobucket so i can share my experience...bad and good :-D

Got my UK ML430 over here awaiting a 55 transplant with a Vortech V2 ProCharger, just need an ECU, Immob module and matching key and i'm ready for surgery :D Setup was in my mates AMG over here and it was dyno'd at 633 brake at the flywheel rockon it ate the rings in cylinder 1, but no damage to sleeve...think it was down to a bad remap but its just a block in my garage for now...contemplated on making a nice table for the living room B)

Hi and welcome along...

looking forward to the build thread, ;)

funny how things happen... I was only chatting to my missus earlier, well trying to convince her to do something different for our holidays this year,

I wanted to go to Oslo and take a train across the mountains to Bergen, possibly staying at or visiting a couple of Fyords,

even showed her a couple of videos on Youtube of Bergen etc, she though the place was magical

but she still wants to go to bloody Spain & sit by a pool!!! :D

best of luck,

Rob.

Hi mate, isnt it just eh... Yeah it great here mate so chilled compared to back home, its well worth a trip over here though bud, bit of a forgotten land really but suppose thats one of the reasons it looks like it does. The best fjords to see are actually around the Bergen area, if your ever over here mate, let us know we'll have a bevvy, however...you need to take out a small mortgage to have a night out over ere mate :D thats the only downside and ya 36% income tax "wallbang"

Cheers mate
