Hello! Recently purchased a late (ie '89) 2L carb in Anthracite. Has 175K on the clock, but really does drive like a car with a third that mileage. A few minor marks and fairly basic spec but everything seems to work and I'm blown away by the build quality. Same, if not better, clunk as an xj jag I used to have. Does judder on full right lock (garage rekons it's engine mounts and power steering pump) but i can live with that for a while. Managed to buy it despite having a 6 week old baby ![]() Wife "fairly" pleased ![]() Even fits the pram in the boot with room to spare! Sensible family motoring! |
