Hi Guys I'm new to the group. Currently own a VW Polo and a convertible BMW E30. I am selling both cars to take on my dads old 190e. Cars been parked for about 4 years, needs a full respray and service etc. Mechanically it's perfect. I am looking to do a few things (looks wise) to the 190e. First on my list is : 60mm front springs 40mm rear springs Is this a straight fit or do I need to adapt or change anything in order for these springs to fit? Cheers Ash and thanks in advance |

Hello and welcome to the forum, Ash. You can lower by 40mm no problem with the original shocks. But any lower than that will cause the standard shocks to fail fairly rapidly. So shorter shocks will be needed. |

Hello and welcome Ash. As said you would need shorter shocks also. You can buy a kit which includes shocks and springs (H&R Cup Kit for example). |
