Hi all from New Zealand! eatpopcorn

What do you folks reckon of this? feckknows

I have had a 2.6 and an early 190E years ago. This appears and looks like a genuine Sportline. B) Drives good but needs the boot lid painting as the clear coat has gone. Heater fan doesn't work either! I wonder why? Hope it isn't a "bomb"

Thanks in advance!!! :driver:

Firstly, welcome to the site!

Well, its the genuine article, no doubt about that. Four seat interior too, that makes it even more desirable. From the pics, it looks to be in good order. A replacement stereo, heater motor and a bit of paint isn't the end of the world. Main things to be sure of are a good rot free shell and that the sometimes costly sportline components are in good order and that it drives well.

Well worth a look I reckon. I'm guessing sportlines are a rare sight in NZ...

Hi :P

The body is just fine. Don't get too much rot here especially in the South Island. ;)

Hi all, :)

OK, what would you guys buy?

The '89 2.0 Sportline or 90 2.6 feckknows

The Sportline appeals even though it needs a little paint work. :help:

Swings and roundabouts. But if you tried both I think you'd go for the 2.6. The six cylinder is so much more refined.. And it's cheaper!

The ad for the 2.6 is no longer there. Maybe it's sold. feckknows
