Hi Guys,

Just joined the forum after the purchase of a new car.

I wanted to introduce myself to fellow enthusiasts.I am based in the North West of rainy England, and hoped to attend any meets you might have in the future.

Some of you may be familiar with the vehicle already as the previous owner is a active forum member and spoke very highly of this site.

The car is a 1990 Mercedes 190 2.5 16 in Astral Silver, love the car. Bought it on Saturday and had a smile on my face all the 150 miles home! I have some plans for it and wanted to get share some ideas with people who also have a similar interest. . I have ordered new plates, wipers and bulbs and plan to order a new standard grille & rear badge plus lots more.

The car needs some body work as there is some rust so i hoped to get some recommendations of a good body shop near me? say 10-20 miles.

I am new to the site so i am still finding my feet with the functions but will post a picture ASAP.

Cheers

Thanks for the quick response twopointsix, the info is much appreciated.

I am going to go and have a chat with Chris later in the week, get his opinion on the work that needs doing. I may try and DIY depending on the job.

I took out the rear speakers this morning as they where perished, do you have any recommendations on replacements ?

I have this headunit http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?archive=true&pathId=132&modelId=MODL027409
