Hello gentlemen,
I'm a fellow MB owner from Belgrade, Serbia. I was invited here by a forum member, but also a friend of mine, Boris Janjic :)
I don't own a W201, I'm 'stuck' with something a tad older - a 1984 W123 200 petrol :driver:
A few photos for now:

Next to a 190E

The E-Class, through the generations (missing a W212 though, but the silver W211 E500 is a pretty good replacement  )

And finally, being overtaken by a W201 2.5-16V:

Hello and welcome.

I love the W123. My dad had a 200 in the 80's.

Thank you all for a warm welcome!
Well I am taking good care of the W123 - it's been my dream car since I was 5, and I finally bought it year-and-a-half ago :)
It's got rust issues, but mechanically-wise it is better than I could ever expect  It's got nearly half a million kilometers (310-320K miles) on the clock, runs mostly on LPG, but is still reliable and trustworthy as it was back in 1984 :driver:

Restoration is planned for June this year (only bodywork and a fresh coat of paint though, interior is pretty well preserved)
Here's another pic or two:

Thanks for the nice words!
Actually, it is pretty common to have LPG in Serbia - as a matter of fact, more than half of petrol cars use LPG, because of the huge prices of, well, petrol.
Speaking of mine W123, it did come with Lovato (The car itself came from Germany in 1997, but had 4-5 owners in Serbia since then), but I installed a brand-new system two months ago. It is a MUST, since in Belgrade traffic, it 'drinks' 16-18 liters per 100km - in LPG, it costs around 10 pounds to drive 100kms, but if it ran on petrol... 20+ :D

I can understand you, also here in italy the petrol prices are very high!
And also i know that a lot of serbian's cars have autogas fitted, i have a couple of very good friends that are from there, and both of them have it!
You w123 has a lovely colour, i remember when i was a child that a friend of my dad used to had it, 300d turbo, saloon, same colour, 4 speed autobox, full cream leather. i loved it!
