Basicly was driving down the road road lost acceleration Aa come down and said something broke by the air box it's cable tied atm haven't had a chance to get it to the garage Here's a picture of what it's looking like if someone could get me a link to the part needed would be appreciated ![]() ![]() This is a 2.3 dogleg cosworth if it makes a diffrence |

Also the abs light has been on since day one how can I check what is causing the problem as my dad said the brakes work fine |

Looks like you need a new throttle/accelerator cable. Not expensive and available from ecp. As for abs light, if the brakes work fine than ovp might be the culprit. |

Try this part number 2023010093 at your online store. This number is just for the part that you are missing, a black plastic accelerator clip. Edited by 246kharmadog, Sun Oct 12, 2014 7:31 pm.

i made a little plastic sleeve and slipped it over mine just cut a slot in a small square of plastic clipped it over so it wont fall of perfect cant take a pic casuse its in the garage with engine coming out tomorrow but its much easier than and cheaper than a new cable they oull thru or wear and just pop out pain in the ass when it happens mine went on the way down motorway |
