Hi, i have 190d 4speed manual and sometimes it makes a loud grinding noise, i think from the clutch, and it slips a bit(barely noticeable) when i make a hard pull, there are no other symptoms with the clutch or gearbox, anyone knows what it could be? Edited by Skinner, Sat Nov 8, 2014 5:29 am.

Yes it could be the bearing failing and rubbing against the clutch mechanism. If it's that you'll need a new clutch kit. |

Next time you hear it put a little pressure on the pedal, if the noise goes away or changes at all it's probably the bearing. |
