hi all as you mite know im after an engine for a 190 but there to far to go

all i can find is a mercedes ce 300 engine and do you know what manual gearbox will fit it

will that fit in a 190 most prob not but its down the road etc

You are straying away from simply getting your car back where it belongs- on the road- into the realms of major reconstruction work.
Surely it would be more cost effective, and quicker to get your existing engine fixed?
Putting any second hand unit in the car is taking a chance on its condition and you could end up quids out and back to 'square one'.
Reconditioning your own engine as far as it needs would give you the peace of mind that the engine was right.

my engine is no good naf big time

block is cracked

head is warped

deffo not gone be fixed fast

just need it back on the road

theres nothing round my way for miles

stuck for now :)

Jason you couldn't sort out basic problems on an engine etc that was specific for that car do you honestly believe you are capable of fitting a 300 engine in a 190 e

thanks mate driving me made every one i seem to find is 4 hours away

just want to get it on the road agen

got are main car but not the point like driving her around fun

should get there soon if i cant find one got another idea

Try kompressor, it's more or less bolt on it's electrics that gonna cause few issues but a skilled electrician shouldn't have a problem marrying it all up.
