I recently picked up a spare 2.3 16v engine that I plan to overhaul & put into my car,

today I started to strip it down getting it ready for the head to come off.... I took off the alternator, intake and exhaust manifold,

this then got me thinking of what way I want it to look when finished,

I was going to spray the engine fully in black, including the cylinder head, water pump etc but having stripped it down I'm now thinking of keeping it original... well, as much as possible,

If I was to only spray the block and cam cover black, leave the cylinder head as it is after I get it back from Serdi, then is there a way of bringing back the cast water pump, t/stat housing etc back to life...

I know I'm been fussy... :D but that's me!!
