The slam panel and suspension are different, maybe the brakes too.

Springs, wiring, tank, radiator....... sell your 2.0 petrol and buy a diesel.
Much easier task.

Yes it's a straight swap with the engine but the front springs are different, also the diff ratio. The rad is bigger and the lower rad mounting frame is different but not a massive job to alter. The glow plug loom is plug an play if it's been removed from the donor car correctly.

Are the front discs solid on the 2.0? They are vented on the 2.5 so if possible get the callipers from the 2.5, they will bolt straight on.

Yes they are solid 11mm wide ,262 mm diameter, in the 2.5 are the same only in the 2.5 turbodiésel are vented 22 mm wide, same diameter 262 mm

Yes I think it's the TurboD and 2.3, 2.6E that have vented brakes. The gear ratios and final drive are different(assuming they're both 5 speed manual) so you'd need the gearbox and diff to get full benefit.

Best to change the whole drivetrain to diff. I suppose you could leave the diff 'till later but the 2.5 diff is nearly 10% longer. I would recommend a new clutch kit and slave cylinder if you're going to do it.
