Hi all,

Really hope you can offer some advice.......

I had my 1989 190 2.0 Auto mot'd a couple of months ago (after being off the road for about 2 years) and for one reason and another have only just got round to using it properly, or would if the bloody thing would start. She drove well to and from the mot station and even i started it every couple of weeks without driving it. All seemed ok, until now.......
Its running the Pierburg/Stromberg CD175.
All ignition parts have been replaced and a spark is present and strong.
Fuel pump appears to be working and putting a gauge on it shows about 3psi when the engine is cranking.
I've topped the dashpot up with ATF.
I've taken the water jacket/choke assembly off and everything seems to be ok although i haven't checked the bi metallic strip.
I plan to check the diaphram for damage tomorrow but i'm really struggling for ideas now.
I have no cash to get it to a garage so really have no option than to fix it myself.
I've also tried Easystart. I've tried spraying it directly into the carb to no effect so have to stick my finger in the carb to manually lift the dashpot and needle. Even then it only splutters, which makes me think ignition problem. I'm going round in circles.....

Any suggestions on what i can try tomorrow as i'm dying to get it running so i can drive it.

Hell, i'll even post some pictures if i can get it running!!

Do you best guys!!

Many thanks

Rog
