hello to everyone I have an issue with my 190E 1.8 manual....215000 miles on the clock. The car starts perfectly on any conditions but after a few minutes while on idle starts to raddle and misfire..... when i put my foot on the pedal it hesitates ....when i put my foot to the floor it shuts off. If though the car is on higher rpm it revs nicely ans responds immediately..... but if i shut it off it will not start again until 1 hour or so is past.... and if i try to start it it misfires alot. Yesterday i have noticed that the EHA valve is leaking not bad.... but from a small hole to the side and up front.... is that the problem or is something else how can i be sure..or how can i test thank in advance |

A leaking EHA valve is never a good thing, risk of fire !!!! So get that fixed ASAP then go from there. There are two small rubber seals that can perish and leak behind the EHA. |

+1 for change the O-rings on the EHA. The misfire is more probably Distributor cap/rotor or ignition leads and plugs |

Most probably it's not leaking from the O-rings but from the cracked housing what means a new EHA at about Euros 270 from the dealer. Don't ask me how... regards, Christian |
