Hey guys! Any idea what went here? My car started playing up before Christmas so i went over the whole engine and plugged this hole on the inlet manifold and all my problems went away. I am starting to think nothing went here. My 190e is a 92 1.8 5 speed manual with no AC or ABS. it also drives and starts fine, no shifting problems, no timing issues, not sluggish and emissions are fine. http://s17.postimg.org/pf5aumq7z/vacleak.jpg |

Hello mate, it looks very similar to what my 190e 2.3-16 has but mines round to the left of the fuel distributor, all mine has is a little rubber cap on it but the shaft of the hole is exactly the same. Hope this helps

On the auto cars it is a vacuum feed to the auto gearbox. |

Thanks guys! Yup it did have a bung on it and I found it on the driveway! I'm gonna plug it up good now and start cleaning the engine bay to see what else I can find. I even found the first rad filler cap that I thought I lost in there. |
