I have just stripped down my fuel distributor to put a new diaphragm and seals in and on taking it apart the filter on the metering barrel has got a hole in it on one side.
Does anyone know where I can buy one of these.
I have tried KMI but he will not sell me one.
Thanks.

Just put the pic to the top of post so you can see it as the pic could not be uploaded when I first done it

That picture on the link is the same as the at Mercedes and the part I need is not shown it is inside the fuel distributor.
Mercedes will only sell the complete fuel distributor.
Tried to put a picture on here but cannot at this time.
I do have it posted twice on Facebook with pic

You might have to keep your eye out for a used fuel distributor on ebay. They come up now and then for £20 ect.

You can get the screen filter for your fuel distributor .You will need to search for them i have a picture of its location on the distributor. I was going to replace mine in my 260eW124 .When i was looking, i contacted Mercedes only to be told its not fitted in my m103 2.6 But if you have one in there now i would replace it .Try amazon.

Do you think you could ascertain if the filter from a 4 pot distributor are the same? I have so many it isn't funny.

Unfortunately the 4-pot one will not work, there are 4 filter segments instead of six and the dimensions are different.

There are only four segments on my filter. Shame. Out of curiousity what are the sizes of your one anyway.

Ok, so I took it all apart and the bore is 18mm, and the height is 12.3mm using a vernier caliper. Can this work? If so, PM me your address and I can Air Parcel Post it to you. If you give me an e-mail address I can send a pic, easier than trying to upload to ZetaBoard.
