I found where it is, have to go from under the car. Really awkward and the bolt is rounded so doesn't look like ill be getting it off with the car on the ground.

Crank position sensor yeah ? Last i checked it wasn't underneath the car.


Are you sure you haven't installed the engine upside down ?

It's not visible or accessible from the top. The only way i can just about reach is from underneath the engine; i dont have particularly long arms. The lay outs differ between engines; i think its a lot easier on a 2.0

Maybe, i've just popped my head under the bonnet and can see it directly without removing anything. Plenty room around it you can get in there and shake your knickers about i really can't see what all the fuss is about. feckknows

Is yours left hand drive or something because that would change matters slightly.

I have '90 2.6 rhd. I can see it from under the car but not the top. We clearly have different layouts. Do you have a picture though? You've got me curious.
