Hi My 93 190 2.0 E has developed a fault where the warm engine idle speed has changed from approx 800 rpm to approx 1200 in Park and 1500 rpm in N. Otherwise the car drives as normal, no other faults or warning lamps/indicators. I have reviewed the previous posts on this subject but not found the solution. some of the old posts point to photos where the links no longer work I have taken off the Air filter housing and sprayed butane at the vacuum hoses I can see but this had no effect on the engine speed. I would be really grateful if someone could explain a logical sequence of fault finding. Thanks Malcolm |
