I'm about to give my 190 a complete respray and all the rust sorted onmu 190, is there anything else I should have done at the same time? Having new front indicators, reg plates and grille, anything else I should do? Like seals or anything like that while she is in the body shop? |

Liam. It sounds like you have done a good job. Just remember to waxoil the inside of the wings and bodywork .Rust works from inside out in most cases.. |

Check around the top spring cups at the rear, if you haven't done already. The top spring cup is part of the car's body. Mine were getting nasty on my 1.8, and dropping the subframe was the only way to treat the area properly. |

I'll make sure it's looked at, had a very reputable tuning shop overhaul the suspension so I'm sure they would have said still better safe than sorry! Anyway if I have to drop the subframe it's a good excuse to do more work and get some poly bushes! |

That sounds great Liam. If you're taking windows out, check the condition of the metal around the rear windscreen, particularly in the lower corners. If there's rust there, then change your rear window while the window is out anyway. Good luck with the respray, ConorD |
