Polish for removing scratches

Hey guys,

Quick question - I use Autoglym when polishing my car, and it's fairly good at getting out some of the lighter scratches (like the ones you get in the recess behind the door handles). I've got a few other smaller ones that Autoglym is really not much use against. Years ago, I used to use a coloured polish (or coloured T-cut) that was good at fixing/colour matching the slightly deep scuffs, but I seem to remember it would leave 'bright spots' - it would clear the scratch/mark, but the area around the now removed scuff would be brighter than the rest of the panel.

Popped into Halfords today just to have a sniff around, and the lad there showed me a couple of products. The coloured T-Cut in liquid form, something similar that was more paste-like that he wasn't keen on, then some Maguirs (sp). I dithered then thought before I commit to anything, I'd ask what you'd recommend (and a full respray is not necessary nor an option! ). The car is pearl blue and none of the scratches are down to the metal.

Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks very much. Oh, one more thing...is Pearl Blue a solid? It's not metallic, is it?

Take a look at Chemical Guys on YouTube, they've got some good tutorials and their products are great, it's what was used on my 16v last year, I just used finer polishes as there wasn't really any specific scratches I wanted to get rid of, but they do specific products to get rid of certain types / depth scratches so take a look at their YouTube videos

I'm in no great rush to (do anything  ) get this fixed, but I'll ket you know how it went/what I did. Thanks again.

Nick and I use Angelwax products. Amazing results from all their range. Heres a link to their exterior range! Redemption, regenerate and resurection are the products for your purpose!

I usually use Menzerna, but found recently it's leaving a poor finish, like it needs more polishing, spoke to a couple of other detailers who say the same.
Looking for another manufacturer, will look into the Angelwax stuff
