I am about to complete the restoration of my 190e. The car is midnight blue, and the Sacco panels which were Rio blue I think, are all scuffed or faded. It would be a shame to put them back on considering the effort I've gone to with the rest of the bodywork. I have painted them satin navy blue, but think it's too much of a contrast. I'm thinking of painting them the same as the body colour, with the satin finish. Thanks in advance. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It is indeed originally Rio Blue. This is something I have been thinking about doing to mine in the past. Midnight blue all over would look good |

Thanks Chunk. Given the fun I had taking the panels off, I wanted to make sure I got the colour right before I refitted them. I had seen a cosworth 190e with matching panels, and without going too far from original spec, the midnight blue all over will finish it all off, with my nicely refurbished alloy wheels. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
