Have a look on Autodoc and Mister-Auto

Sometimes worth a check on Amazon/Ebay.

Very rarely use ECP days. Poor value for money and bad customer service. Sadly GSF aren't what they were either, the European suppliers can usually beat them on quality/price/service.

In fact the last couple of parts I needed Euros and GSF couldn't even find despite me providing them with the correct part numbers. Ordered from Autodoc and arrived promptly at a very competitive price - would recommend a look.

Myself i wont trust any part not made by mercedes .One reason is , if your car is auto the ATF fluid is cooled via the radiator.Any fault inside the radiator to do with the oil pipe running through it then coolant can get into your auto box ,.

Apparently Behr are not what they once were, there was a guy on here a few months ago that had issues with one being a cheap rebrand special. I've had good luck with Nissens though they seem to be ok.

Ironically there's two issues with your post:

1) Mercedes don't make radiators
2) Some of the radiators that Mercedes used in the factory caused the exact problem you described. Valeo were factory fit for many of their models a while back and this caused glycol contamination of transmission fluid.

Any decent quality radiator will do the job just fine, no need to go to Mercedes for an OE supplied part in this instance.
