hi all fitted a new water pump on my 2.6 only to find out someone had fitted one without the option for the oil cooler. that's fine but they decided to cut the end off the pipe and cap it with a bit of rubber and a bolt so my new fitted water pump has a big hole but nothing to fit into it. ive searched online and looked throught the Haynes but nothing identifies it. the oil filter sits on top of this cooler and it has this metal pipe that connect to the side of the pump. I cant even find an image of how it should look bit stumped. identifying its part number would be a start so I can google it. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

nope that's the front pipe I have one that runs off from the rear of the pump and goes straight to the oil filter housing. you can see its blanked off on the old pump, basically they bought the wrong pump. new one has the correct exit. ![]() |
