Hot start, changed injectors and cold start valve.; Hot start issue high idle

So im at a dead end trying to fix my 1.8 190e. It has a high idle problem, the car idles at 1100 rpm and also has a hot start issue. When the car is hot
and you restart the car after sitting for 30 mins the car barley starts, I've noticed that when at night and the temperature is cooler the idle is so low that it barley keeps ticking over.
The car when cold in the morning cold start is at 2000 rpm and then settles to 1100.
Ive replaced;
The injectors and injector seals
the lambda sensor
Cold start valve with a second hand one as Mercedes want £500+
Fuel accumulator
Fuel pump was changed 2 years ago and the car has maybe done 10000 miles since then.
OVP relay was changed 2 years ago
Have fitted a replacement temp sensor that controls the temp gauge in the car.
the idle air control valve appears to be very clean inside.
I have checked as best as i can for vaccum leaks.

I'M only a student so replacing these comes at a big cost. Garages refused to even look at my car and Mercedes took £250 off me for a diagnosis that was wrong.

Could anyone help?

throttle idle switch on the accelerator linkage at the engine side. Its a small limit switch which engages the idle circuit when the pedal is fully released. Easy to check it's working or not. Sometimes an over adjusted ( slack removed ) throttle cable will not allow it to contact.

This si a good check to do. Also, there's a small return spring on the throttle cable arm to assist in bringing the arm back into contact with the microswitch. Mine broke and disappeared so I've got to get a new one - in the meantime, I've got this high idle sometimes (but no hot start problem).

If yours is missing too the spring is part number A1029930910 (well, that's it for a '91 2.0 auto anyhow).

There are TWO springs, the one you can see at the accelerator cable end under the air cleaner and the ‘invisible’ one which connects to the linkage from the throttle body underneath the induction manifold to the support bracket. Both springs are required to pull he cable back onto the micro switch. Hope this helps.

Have you checked for any leaks on the inlet side, manifold gasket etc?
