Heater control illumination

Right hand, on a RHD car, heater control dial.

Illuminates perfectly until you reach the top 2 segments, then light goes out. Had it to bits but can't see anything wrong.

Any ideas?

sounds like the bulbs.... have you inspected them or better yet swapped them about or simply put new ones in? if you have LEDs perhaps you have one installed backwards/ wrong polarity, or do you mean all the lights go out when you twist the control???

Hi, I've checked the bulb and it's fine, from cold to warm it lights up, it's just when you turn it up from around the 10pm it goes out. Weird!
