Face-lift W126/C126 rear bumper and chrome, are they the same?

The chrome on my rear bumper is obliterated. Can anyone tell me if the rear bumper, and chrome, are the same for the W126 and C126(SEC)?

It should be, shouldn’t it. But why manufacture one part with a dual use when we can make two !
Just slightly different enough to prevent it fitting both models and as it’s a coupe we can charge twice as much. :lol:
