I think the starter has packed up as it was making a clack when starting every now & then. It's been a bit stumbly when starting from cold recently too (weak turning over?). Should have dealt with it but luckily it's conked out at home Are there any other things which could cause this that I can rule out? Battery charge is very strong. All fuses look ok. Has been driving fine. Cheers Edited by horatio, Sun May 20, 2018 7:32 pm.

Gave the starter a sharp thwack with the pole from a jack and got it going... luckily the garage were happy to take it straight away. Really, really did not want to DIY it on the drive! It was a lucas I only fitted about 4-5 years ago. Getting a Bosch this time. Edited by horatio, Mon May 21, 2018 11:12 am.
