For sale is my 190e 2.6, "Matilda", G782 UFM.

Many boxes are ticked:
- 2.6
- Auto
- Leather
- Post-facelift (1989)
plus
- Alloys
- Tilt/slide sunroof
- Leather steering wheel

Bought via the forum 5 years ago, we've done about 12000 miles since. Current mileage is a tad over 141,500.
Almandine Red. Bodywork, interior and engine/mechanicals are all in good condition. Usually garaged. Decent tyres. Plenty of history. Full MoT.
Aside from the usual tidying, servicing and general maintenance I had both front wings replaced in 2014, and fitted a new radiator, viscous coupling and autobox coolant line in 2015.

As with most cars of this age there is the usual 'list of things to attend to at some point', in this case a grumble from front nearside which could be a wheel bearing, the heater control never has, and the radio's rubbish.

And not forgetting...
- Original first aid kit :)
- Unfortunately, NOT a barn find

During my time with Matilda and the forum I've had a genuine hoot. Wafting around in the 2.6, meeting some fantastic people, getting to a few GTGs, learning, contributing, just... enjoying.

But. The time is right to move on. Try something new. An option: 'her indoors' hankers after something British... feckknows what can you do?

I'm looking for around £2500, to include some spares. Insured for £3k with PBIS, based on an MBOC valuation a few years ago.

Pictures to come (the weather's been shocking here today), but as a taster Matilda featured as forum car of the month in Dec 2014: link.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see her in the metal.

Not yet advertised elsewhere. Located in Lytham St Annes, Lancs. If you're interested please PM me and we can take it from there.

Happy motoring, John :driver:

As promised, here are some pics.

The weather is still rubbish, so these are the 6 photos I sent to the insurance company to back up the valuation 3 years ago.

I'll do some more once the sun is shining and we venture out of the garage (tomorrow?).

Any questions - keep those PMs coming!

Cheers, John

Might be worth mentioning it has cruise control as some might not notice.

Ah, yes, well spotted Hu. That sneaky second stalk.

A few things interior-wise not previously mentioned:

- Cruise control in full working order :)

- A Parrot hands free kit... quite useful.

- Fold-down arm rest too.

Cheers, John

Lovely car John. Looked good in the flesh when I saw it a couple of years back.

This is a great 2.6 for someone. There must be some forum member who wants this! Iíve only had the pleasure of meeting John once, but he came across as a thoroughly lovely and genuine gentleman as you would note if you phoned him about the car.

Good luck with the sale John! Letís keep this car in forum ownership!
